Abstract

In 1997 the Library of the Aarhus School of Business developed a System of Electronic Registration of Research Results, financed by DEF (i.e. Denmark’s Electronic Research Library). On May 1, 1998 the project started operating, and since then the researchers of the Aarhus School of Business have been recording their own research results in the research database developed by the Library of the Aarhus School of Business. After one year of registering research results the Library decided to continue to develope the project; the further development of the System of Electronic Registration of Research Results is based on full integration in ALEPH 500 i.e. the online system of the Library. This article describes the idea of the project, the model used, the architecture of the system, and the plans for further development and adaptation of the System of Electronic Registration of Research Results.
