Ett paradigmskifte i skolan?

Abstract


Hundreds of milliones have been invested in new technology in the shape of computers in the Swedish schools during the past 10-15 years. The expectations of this investment have been a renewal of the school and an implementation of new teaching methods.

Has the enormous economical resources that the state has invested produced the expected result? It´s yet to early to tell, evaluations are still going on. But one thing is sure, the school is changing, the school will never be the same. The questions remain though: Does these changes also include progress? In this article, the long term investment of computers in the Swedish schools from the introduction of the first computers to todays computers in network, is reviewed.
