HUMAN IT is a multi-disciplinary and scholarly journal with the goal of bringing forth new research and discussion about digital media as communicative, aesthetic, and ludic instruments.

We welcome contributions from the humanities, the social, behavioural, and natural sciences, as well as technology. Accepted languages are the Nordic languages and English.

Björn Hammarfelt (PhD) is a senior lecturer at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science (SSLIS), University of Borås and a visiting scholar at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), Leiden University. His research is situated in the intersection between information science and sociology of science, with the organization and communication of knowledge in focus. Currently he is engaged in a postdoc project studying how scholars respond to the further use of bibliometric measures for evaluating research.
