Det framväxande interaktionssamhället: En förändrad tid och plats

In this article the concept of an emergent interaction society is discussed as a way to address a general societal trend towards interaction-centered use of IT, in comparison with the more traditional information-centered use of IT. It is proposed that the information technology acronym “IT” could now be reinterpreted as an acronym for interaction technology due to the extensive use today of IT in support of social interaction. An analysis is then presented along the classical analytical dimensions of time and place of how this technology on a very fundamental level has affected our lives.
