Abstract

Dear readers,

We present here a collection of work long in the making. In 2017 Human IT was approached by Digital Humanities in the Nordic countries (DHN) with the idea of publishing contributions from the DHN 2017 conference in Gothenburg. The authors set out to rework their papers and presentations into journal articles, most of which would undergo peer review to be published in our refereed section. This special issue on Nordic Digital Resources and Practices is the result.

The editors are very grateful to conference co-chair Jenny Bergenmar, Gothenburg University, who made it happen and also assumed the role of guest editor. Without further ado we hand over to Bergenmar to introduce the issue’s theme and contributions in her guest editorial.
