Abstract

How do two of Sweden’s major newspapers (Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet) deal with our newest medium – the Internet? Do they continue to publish their news in the traditional way or do they choose a totally new structure especially adapted for the Internet? This article analyses the differences and similarities between printed and web published papers on several levels – from the basic structure to the content of the articles and their linguistic approach.
